Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy establishes the rules for using the Tech Support Bids marketplace and helps protect businesses, IT providers, and the integrity of the Platform.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Tech Support Bids website and platform (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy.


1. Purpose of the Platform

Tech Support Bids is a marketplace platform that connects businesses seeking IT services with independent IT service providers.

The Platform may only be used for legitimate business purposes related to requesting, bidding on, evaluating, and providing IT services.


2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to engage in any of the following activities.

Illegal Activities

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation
  • Engaging in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
  • Money laundering or financial fraud
  • Identity theft
  • Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, or other harmful code

Platform Abuse

  • Submitting false or misleading project requests
  • Submitting fake bids or proposals
  • Creating fake or duplicate accounts
  • Impersonating any person, organization, or business
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Posting defamatory, obscene, or offensive content
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
  • Attempting to collect user contact information for the purpose of bypassing the Platform or avoiding applicable Platform fees
  • Attempting to circumvent Platform fees, reporting obligations, or processes
  • Scraping, copying, harvesting, or extracting data from the Platform without authorization
  • Attempting to hack, damage, disable, interfere with, or overload the Platform
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to derive the source code or underlying technology of the Platform except where permitted by applicable law
  • Using bots, scripts, automated systems, or similar technologies to access or interact with the Platform without authorization

Business Misconduct

  • Performing services without required licensing, certifications, or insurance where applicable
  • Misrepresenting qualifications, certifications, experience, capabilities, or services
  • Accepting a project with no reasonable intention of performing the agreed services
  • Using payment arrangements, side agreements, third parties, or other methods for the purpose of avoiding fees owed to Tech Support Bids
  • Failing to report projects, renewals, extensions, or other transactions when reporting is required under an applicable Tech Support Bids agreement
  • Sharing confidential project, business, provider, or customer information without authorization

3. Content Standards

You may not post, upload, submit, communicate, or transmit content through the Platform that:

  • Is false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Is defamatory or unlawfully harmful to another person or business
  • Is obscene, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate
  • Promotes or facilitates illegal activity
  • Infringes or violates intellectual property rights or other third-party rights
  • Contains viruses, malware, ransomware, malicious code, or other harmful technology
  • Contains information that you do not have the right or authorization to disclose

4. Account Suspension or Termination

Tech Support Bids reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform if a user violates this Policy, the Terms of Service, an applicable user agreement, or another Tech Support Bids policy.

Where appropriate, Tech Support Bids may also restrict access to specific Platform features or remove content associated with a violation.


5. Reporting Violations

If you believe a user has violated this Policy, you may report the issue to Tech Support Bids.

6. Enforcement

Tech Support Bids reserves the right, as permitted by applicable law, to:

  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Remove or restrict access to content
  • Suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts
  • Restrict access to Platform features or participation in the marketplace
  • Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities
  • Pursue legal action where appropriate
  • Seek recovery of damages, losses, fees, and costs where permitted by applicable agreements and law

7. Related Policies and Agreements

Use of Tech Support Bids is also subject to other applicable Platform policies and agreements, including the Non-Circumvention Policy, Privacy Policy, and  Terms of Service, and any Business User Agreement or Provider Agreement applicable to your use of the Platform.

Users are responsible for complying with all policies and agreements applicable to their participation in Tech Support Bids.


8. Changes to This Policy

Tech Support Bids may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
